Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What is the maximum load capacity of this squat rack? Is it suitable for heavy weight training?
A: This squat rack is made of thick steel and has a stable frame structure (main tube size 50*50*1.5mm). The standard load capacity overall is 250kg which meets the requirements of regular strength training.
It is strictly prohibited to use beyond the rated load capacity.
It is not recommended to perform extreme super-large weight push-up training without protection.
For heavy weight training, protective personnel must be present to prevent accidents.
Q: Can the holes on the uprights be adjusted? Can the height of the accessories be customized?
A: Both main uprights have dense and evenly spaced adjustment holes. The barbell holder (J-cup bar), safety protection arms., can be adjusted in height through the adjustment holes to meet the needs of different heights and different training movements (squat, bench press, pull-ups).
Q: Is the installation difficult? What tools are needed?
A: The squat rack comes with an installation screw accessory package. Basic tools such as a wrench and socket are required. It is recommended to install with two people working together. Follow the installation manual steps strictly. All screws must be tightened and fixed
Q: Can it be used for bench press and pull-ups? How safe is it?
A: It can be used in combination with corresponding accessories for squat, barbell bench press, pull-ups, etc. When doing bench press, adjust the height of the safety arm properly.
For pull-ups, only self-weight or small negative weights are allowed. Do not suspend with extremely heavy weights. Before use, confirm that all connection parts are secure.
Q: Will it shake when placed at home? Can it be fixed to the ground?
A: When used on a flat and hard surface, the frame base provides basic stability. During heavy weight training, there may still be slight displacement. You can put a durable mat under the squat rack for cushioning and anti-slip.
The base has reserved fixing holes. You can use expansion screws to fix the rack to the floor to further enhance stability. Wooden floors are not recommended for drilling and fixing. You can pair it with a professional fitness mat for cushioning and anti-slip.
Q: Will the accessories come off? What should be noted when using?
A: All accessories are fixed by bolts and clasps. After proper installation and locking, they will not easily come off. Before each use, check if the safety arm, J-Cup bar, pull-up bar, and screw fasteners are loose or displaced. If any abnormalities are found, stop using immediately, check for reinforcement, and then continue training.
Q: How to maintain and clean the squat rack?
A: After daily use, wipe the steel surface of the rack with a dry cloth for sweat and dust. Avoid storing it in a humid environment for a long time to prevent rusting of the steel. Regularly check and tighten the screws. If there is paint damage, you can do rust prevention treatment to extend the service life.
Q: Is it suitable for long-term high-frequency use in commercial gyms?
A: This model is mainly designed for home / small personal training studios. If used in a large commercial gym for frequent, multiple, and high-intensity use scenarios, it is recommended to purchase PROESCE heavy-duty squat racks to ensure long-term safety and lifespan.
